Job summary

BARNES-JEWISH WEST COUNTY HOSPITAL is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our imaging team. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call duties, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants.

You will perform diagnostic imaging in advanced modalities, prepare patients and equipment, and participate in quality control. The role includes eventual registration as a breast sonographer and may include cross training for bone density if

Qualifications

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality on adults and/or pediatric patients.
• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.

The Barnes Jewish West County Hospital Imaging Center is a highly specialized, full-service department which strives to meet all patient and clinician needs in diagnostic imaging and image-guided therapies.

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control. Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
