Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Breast and X-Ray Center in Georgia is seeking a part-time Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality imaging while guiding patients with clear explanations. This role balances clinical responsibilities with a flexible schedule in a leading integrated health system.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year as Radiologic Technologist and 1 year in mammography in hospital.
• Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-M, BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams per physician order and protocol.
• Review images for quality and completeness; maintain first-time acceptance rate.
• Protect patient privacy and comfort; assist with transfers.
• Label, orient, and document images in PACS/RIS; complete daily charge capture.
• Maintain equipment; perform QC tests per guidelines.
• Communicate clearly with patients and team; support training of new staff.
