Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform and analyze diagnostic and interventional mammography on our mobile unit serving Hampton Roads. The role supports patient access to screenings on a rotating, flexible schedule.

You will uphold quality control, radiation safety, and patient care standards while adhering to regulatory requirements and Sentara policies.

Qualifications

• Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology required.
• ARRT Mammography Certification required.
• ARRT Registry eligible graduate must obtain registry within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform and analyze all diagnostic and interventional Mammography Procedures on the mobile unit.
• Conduct quality control and quality assurance per state, federal, and local standards.
• Maintain radiation safety and deliver high-quality patient care.

Job description

Sentara is hiring a Mammography Technologist to perform mammography screenings on our Mobile unit based at the Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center.

Mammogram screenings will be provided on the mobile unit throughout Hampton Roads.

This is a Flexi schedule with Rotating shifts.

As a Mammography Technologist, you will perform and analyze all diagnostic and interventional Mammography Procedures. Also, performs all quality control and quality assurance standards as prescribed by all state, federal, and local agencies. Provide the best patient care and practice radiation safety standards at all times.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $39.51 - $58.51 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
