Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a full-time, day shift position in Hood River, Oregon. The role requires Oregon Radiographer licensure, ARRT radiography credentials, BLS, and Mammography certification within six months of hire.

A $6,000 signing bonus is offered for eligible external hires. You will perform breast imaging exams per physician orders using advanced equipment, ensuring high-quality images while considering patient age and conditions.

Qualifications

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirements.
Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer License.
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - ARRT.
Within 6 months (180 days) of hire National Registered Technologist - Mammography.

Responsibilities

Performs mammography examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated mammography equipment, taking into account individual patient's special or age-related needs.
Utilizes knowledge and judgment in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment needed to produce optimal images.
