Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist for the Day shift. You will perform mammography exams according to physician orders using advanced equipment and tailor imaging to patient age and needs to ensure optimal results.

The role requires Oregon Radiographer License, BLS, ARRT radiography, and completion of ARRT Mammography within 6 months. A $6,000 hiring bonus is available for eligible external hires meeting qualifications.

Qualifications

• Required professional certification and licensure as radiographer.
• Oregon Radiographer License on hire.
• BLS certification on hire.
• ARRT radiography certification on hire.
• Within 6 months, ARRT mammography certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs mammography examinations according to physicians' orders and uses appropriate equipment.
• Considers patient age and needs to produce optimal images and imaging factors.
• Maintains knowledge of imaging techniques and patient treatment requirements.
