Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist for the Day shift. You will perform mammography exams per physician orders using specialized equipment and tailor imaging to patient needs to produce high-quality results.

Required qualifications include Oregon Radiographer license, ARRT Radiography and BLS; Mammography certification within 6 months of hire is expected. A $6,000 signing bonus is available for eligible external hires.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Oregon Radiographer License upon hire.
• BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• ARRT Radiography certification upon hire.
• Within 6 months of hire: Mammography certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs mammography examinations according to physicians' orders using varying equipment.
• Adjusts imaging factors and technique considering patient needs to produce optimal images.
• Maintains quality and safety standards in imaging and patient care.
