Qualifications

• Requires ARRT Mammography credential and ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification.
• BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Florida Radiologic Technology credential prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates mammography equipment and performs related procedures; positions patients and sets technical parameters.
• Educates patients about the role of mammography in breast health.
• Develops and evaluates film for quality (density, contrast, definition).
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Ensures high-quality images and patient data are correctly sent to PACS.
