Job summary

IHA in Grand Haven, MI is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a part-time per diem day-shift role. The position involves performing mammography procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with Radiologists and physicians to provide high-quality diagnostic images.

Graduates of accredited radiographic programs with BCLS/CPR and ARRT Mammography registration are encouraged to apply. Prior Mammography exposure and experience with Meditech, Epic, or Sectra systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiographic Technology.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification; CPR within 3 months of hire.
• ARRT Radiography registration (RT(R)) and Mammography registration (RT(M)); CE requirements.
• 1+ years of XR experience; Mammography experience preferred.
• Experience with Meditech, Epic, and Sectra systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs Mammography procedures and operates all machines safely.
• Assists Radiologists with invasive procedures.
• Articulates exam results to Physicians, RNs, and patients.
• Assesses and monitors patient condition during procedures.
• Performs clerical and support functions for Mammography processes.
• Organizes and prioritizes work to meet patient needs.
• Helps colleagues to ensure short patient wait times.
• Demonstrates good customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Maintains adequate supply inventory.
