Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be registered with ARRT and the advanced registry in Mammography, ARRT(M) (or registry eligible).
• If registry eligible, registry must be obtained within 12 months of date of hire.
• Must maintain the required hours of continued medical education.
• Must meet MQSA criteria, as well as other regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Performs Radiologic breast imaging procedures for evaluation of pathological entities as ordered by a physician.
• Utilizes independent judgment in determining appropriate radiographic techniques, positioning, and safety practices.
• Under the direction of a Radiologist, follows department protocols.
