Job summary

AdventHealth’s Lampasas location seeks an experienced Radiology Technologist specialized in mammography for our day shift. You will perform diagnostic mammography with a focus on high-quality images, patient comfort, and safety while collaborating with radiologists and the breast imaging team.

This full-time role requires ARRT Mammography certification and Texas licensure, with a supportive culture and opportunities to contribute to community screening and accreditation initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv is required.
• Successful completion of an accredited radiology program that meets ARRT standards.
• Successful completion of MQSA training course with certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography examinations per orders and protocols.
• Maintain exam rooms clean, stocked, and safe.
• Notify appropriate personnel when inventory is low.
• Perform daily QC checks per policies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and breast imaging team.
• Assist with recalls, additional imaging, and biopsy scheduling.
• Support accreditation and community screening activities.
• Follow patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures.
• Document in EMR and PACS.
