Job summary

A Radiology Partners practice, Austin Radiological Association (ARA Diagnostic Imaging) in the Greater Austin area, seeks a Mammography Technologist. You will perform mammographic procedures, ensure patient care, maintain QA records, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA-accredited radiologic technology program.
• Certification by the ARRT (A.R.R.T.). State certification by the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
• Ability to interact courteously with clinical staff and patients, and to work well in a team.
• Adheres to Radiology Partners policies including HIPAA, OSHA and accreditation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Performs all mammographic procedures per Department Procedure Manual.
• Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes conditions essential for successful imaging.
• Maintains QA records and adheres to credentialing requirements (ACR, state, etc.).
• Identifies anatomical orientation and verifies patient identifiers on images.
• Practices radiation safety and AS Low As Reasonably Achievable principles.
