Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in breast imaging to join the Imaging Services team. You will perform breast imaging procedures in accordance with scope, standards, and patient safety policies.

The role requires ARRT RT certification with mammography, graduation from accredited radiologic technologist program, and at least one year of technologist experience.

Qualifications

• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with Mammography (M) per ARRT.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Minimum of one year technologist experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice as applicable.
• Position patient and perform imaging procedures with attention to quality and safety.
• Analyze images and adjust technique to ensure diagnostic quality; report issues as needed.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment and exam expectations to ensure cooperation.
• Ensure proper coding and documentation for supplies and procedures.
