Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in Radiography.
• Experience in performing Mammography exams.
• Ability to maintain strict standards of patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Confirms appropriate clinical data and obtains patient history.
• Provides emotional and physical well-being of the patient.
• Communicates equipment issues to the Department Supervisor.

Skills

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

Knowledge of Mammography equipment and MQSA and ACR regulations

Knowledge of PACS and associated equipment

Proven ability to communicate effectively and work with diverse backgrounds

Proven ability to complete Mammography exams in a timely manner

Education

High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test)

Graduate of an accredited radiography program

Licensure in Radiography for 1+ years

Passed the ARRT exam in Mammography

Mammography license in the state of Massachusetts
