Mammography Technologist, First Shift, Radiology- Breast Imaging

UC Health is hiring a Part Time Mammography Technologist for the radiology department at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

The Mammography Technologist performs stereotactic breast biopsies, including scheduling exams with patients, post-procedure follow-up via phone calls, obtaining biopsy results, faxing results to referring physicians, and tracking in appropriate systems while informing radiologists of results.

Qualifications

• Completion of a JRCERT-approved program in Radiologic Technology or an Associate of Science Degree in Radiology Technology
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
• Must obtain Advanced certification in mammography within 12 months of start date
• Current Ohio licensure
• Minimum 0-1 years of experience; training will be provided for those without mammography experience

• Qualify patients for funding programs, track results, and ensure follow-up of abnormal mammograms.
