RESIDENCE REQUIREMENTS: THERE ARE NO RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THIS EXAMINATION. There is one vacancy at the Erie County Medical Center Corporation. The technologist salary is $78,250 - $84,228 annually and the trainee salary starts at $76,198-$82,006 annually.
If you pass the examination, your name will appear on the continuous eligible list for one year. After one year, your name will be removed from the list. You may apply for retest at six month intervals.

A Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist performs technical and quality assurance functions associated with MRI, Computed Tomography (CT), and radiographic procedures at the Erie County Medical Center Corporation (ECMCC).
As MRI Technologist (Job Grade Rad Scale 3): Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and at least one year of MRI or CT experience.
As MRI Trainee (Job Grade Rad Scale 2): Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. After one year of training and meeting requirements, eligible to advance to MRI Technologist without further examination.
The exam will evaluate training and experience. Include detailed summaries of training (courses, seminars) and experience (employment dates, duties). Incomplete applications may be disqualified.
