Job summary

Medical Solutions Direct Hire in Elmsford, NY is seeking a Mammography Technologist for an ongoing, full-time position with 40 hours per week, days shift. You will perform routine and some special mammography procedures, prepare patients, assist radiologists, and maintain equipment per MQSA standards while upholding radiation safety practices.

Requirements include High School Diploma or GED, NY DOH licensure or limited permit, ARRT (RT) registration, and BLS certification or timely completion;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Graduate of an allied health education and accredited radiography program; NY DOH licensure or Limited Permit; ARRT RT registered.
• Passing advanced mammo examination/certification preferred or within 1 year from date of hire.
• 40 hours of mammography training including anatomy, QA/QC, and 25 mammo exams under MQSA supervision.
• BLS certification required or to be completed within 90 days of hire.
• Radiation dose commitments to follow Image Gently/WISELY and ACR guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and some special mammography procedures.
• Prepare patients for imaging and assist radiologists as needed.
• Operate and care for radiology equipment; maintain safety standards.
