Job summary

You will operate mammographic equipment, ensure high-quality images, monitor patient well-being, and guide patients through the exam while safeguarding PHI and site medications.

The role requires ARRT certification, state license, CPR/BLS, and at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience; pay range $48-$72 per hour.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R)(M) certification required.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic equipment per policies and protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a timely manner with excellent patient care.
• Adjust compression, exposure modes, filter, KvP, Mas, and other factors to optimize images.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to issues.
• Guide patients through the exam and answer questions and concerns.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications.
• Maintain professional behavior and respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
