Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Mammography certification or current training to cross-train in mammography.
• BLS for healthcare providers.
• State rad tech license (if applicable).
• Experience in imaging or mammography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams per department protocol, including stereotactic biopsy, clip placements, drainages, and related procedures.
• Operate mammography equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
• Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and address concerns.
• Complete documentation of procedures, patient information, and any adverse reactions.
• Follow coding, charging, QC programs, and report equipment failures.
