Job summary

Talent With Heart is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our breast imaging team in New York City. You will perform 3D digital mammography, apply clinical judgment, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images while delivering compassionate patient care.

The ideal candidate has ARRT certification in Mammography, an active radiologic license, and at least two years of mammography experience. You will collaborate with radiologists to support MQSA/ACR compliance and continuous education.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• ARRT Registration R.T.(R) Required.
• ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) Required.
• State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable).
• Maintain registry status and continuing education.
• Minimum two years of mammography experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammograms and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address any malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammograms
• Apply analytical skills to interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
• Accurately complete all patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.
• Complete necessary medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results, escalating to management or a radiologist when results exceed standard turnaround times.
• Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements.
• Adhere to and maintain continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.
