Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join its private breast imaging team in New York City. The role focuses on high-quality 3D digital mammography, collaborating with radiologists and a dedicated team to support early detection of breast disease.

You will perform exams, ensure equipment reliability, and maintain MQSA/ACR standards while delivering compassionate patient care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• ARRT Registration R.T.(R) Required.
• ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) Required.
• State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable).
• Maintain registry status and continuing education.
• Minimum two years of mammography experience

Responsibilities

• Perform mammograms and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address any malfunctions.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammograms
• Apply analytical skills to interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
• Accurately complete all patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.
• Complete necessary medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results, escalating to management or a radiologist when results exceed standard turnaround times.
• Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements.
• Adhere to and maintain continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.
