Job summary

Tenet Memphis is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform mammography and bone density procedures in Memphis, Tennessee. The role is a full-time, 40-hour per week position with a standard 8-hour shift and includes a sign-on bonus eligibility.

Under minimal supervision, you will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, exercise professional judgment, and be multi-skilled in mammography while supporting patient care across all age groups.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• 2 years in diagnostic mammography radiography.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs.
• Assists practitioner with percutaneous localizations and aspirations of the breast.
• Optimizes mammography procedures by completing QA-QC protocols.
• Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly
• Multi-skilled in the additional area of mammography
• Other related duties as assigned

Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. Is multi-skilled in the additional area of mammography. Will also perform procedures in Bone Density. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
