Job summary

Holy Cross Health Florida in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a full-time Day Shift. You will operate the mammography unit, explain procedures to patients, and ensure high-quality breast imaging under physician direction.

The position requires Florida CRT license, ARRT Mammography registry, BLS, and 40 hours of mammography training; HS diploma and radiography education are essential. Sign-on bonus applies and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an accredited radiography program.
• Evidence of 40 hours mammography training.
• Current Florida CRT license and ARRT Mammography registry.
• Current BLS certification and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Check images for proper identification, positioning and quality per standards.
• Ensure requisitions, clinical history and stickers are complete and accurate.
• Maintain licensure, improve technical skills through training.
• Monitor processor performance daily and maintain patient records and charges.
• Operate mammography, bone densitometry, and associated imaging equipment and PACS.
