Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, FL, seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures with attention to protocols and patient safety. You will operate CT scanners, manage contrast media, and ensure accurate documentation across age groups.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Radiology program, Florida CRT license, ARRT, ARRT (CT), and BLS. Prior CT experience and excellent customer service are preferred and essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiology Technologist is required.
• Experience as a CT Technologist is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills is required
• Ability to effectively prioritize work and work under stressful situations is required

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures accurately and proficiently with an understanding of protocols for each exam.
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of computer language and cross-sectional anatomy.
• Practices proper sterile technique. Adheres to infection control guidelines.
• Interacts efficiently, professionally and courteously with all contacts.
• Draws up requested medication/contrast media and accurately records the administered amount and time as per the physician's orders.
• Administers contrast media under the direction of a physician. Recognizes signs of contrast reaction and responds with appropriate action.
