Job description

Seeking a skilled Technologist certified in Mammography. Performs a variety of radiographic procedures and duties under the direction of a qualified physician and clinical supervisor, using prescribed levels of ionizing radiation.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Performing all activities according to Federal, State, local, and hospital policies and procedures.
  2. Handling a variety of patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric.
  3. Operating imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts.
  4. Instructing patients in Breast Self-Examination (BSE).

Qualifications — External:

  1. License/Certification/Experience:
  2. Licensed by the MA Radiation Control Board.
  3. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Radiology).
  4. CPR Certified.
  5. ARRT (M) Required.
  6. ACS Certified in BSE preferred.
  7. Skills/Knowledge:
  8. Effective communication skills.
  9. Knowledge of the needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients preferred.

Position Details:

  • 16 hours/week, additional Saturday hours available.
