Job summary

Qualifications

Completion of a JRCERT approved program in Radiologic Technology.
Registered in Radiologic Technology by ARRT.
Must obtain Advanced certification in mammography within 12 months of start date.
Current licensure by the State of Ohio.
Minimum 0-1 years experience; mammography experience preferred but training available.

Responsibilities

Obtain the highest quality mammograms following ACR/FDA requirements.
Obtain patient history, locate prior studies and prepare paperwork for radiologist interpretation.
Explain procedures to patients and provide clear instructions to family.
Perform mammographic and DEXA procedures per established protocols.
Submit completed studies to radiologists for interpretation and follow up on abnormal results.
Maintain records and supplies and participate in quality assurance activities.
