Job description

Overview

Who We Are

For nearly 30 years, Women’s Imaging Center ("WIC") has been Colorado’s most trusted destination for compassionate and specialized women’s imaging care where patients look forward to returning year after year.

Our 4.9 rating across more than 5,000 Google reviews doesn't happen by accident. It happens because of our Team. Many of our technologists, medical assistants, and radiologists have been with us for over 20 years. The care they bring isn’t just professional, it’s personal.

We perform 3D screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, MRI, DEXA, and image‑guided biopsy often moving from screening to diagnosis within 24 hours. That continuity of care is rare. Our patients feel it, and so will you. You won’t find that elsewhere in Colorado. If you are not familiar with Centennial state, we have over 300 days of sunshine a year, close access to the Rocky Mountains, great education options, and quality of life that consistently rank among the best in the country.

When you join WIC, you're not just filling a role — you're becoming part of a close‑knit, experienced group that genuinely loves what they do and feels their talents lie in helping other women.

If you're an experienced mammography technologist who takes pride in the work you do, and do it with expertise and heart, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

What Your Days Look Like

We believe the right schedule makes you a better technologist. We work with you to find hours that actually fit your life. And the place you'll spend those hours? Calm, focused, and genuinely upbeat. No hospital noise. No institutional politics. Just good people doing important work. Your day starts the same way every time, making your patients feel seen, respected, and at ease. The next part is dependent on your professional skills, which we are willing to develop or enhance.

On a typical Saturday you might:

  • Guide your patient through the performance of her routine annual screening — answering questions, easing anxiety, and providing information, especially for first time patients.
  • Work up diagnostic exams alongside one of our specialist radiologists, using your positioning expertise and clinical instincts to obtain the optimal imaging for the radiologist's interpretation, working within what is possible (or not) to obtain. This role would be primarly screening patients on a Saturday but we like to keep our options open to do diagnostics as well.
  • Support a patient who is nervous about a callback — your calm, confident presence makes all the difference in how she experiences that moment.
  • Collaborate with a tight‑knit team of Technologists, MAs, and Radiologists who genuinely care about your professional development and success.

Your Impact and Growth

Beyond the daily work, there’s room to grow. Let us know what other x‑ray skills you have and we can see if you are a good fit for our center.

Show us what you’re capable of.
