Job description

Job Description: Mammography Technologist

As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical activities associated with the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. You will respond to patient questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and processes, while maintaining appropriate confidentiality regarding personal health information, including but not limited to, patient diagnosis, health history, demographics, and referral information.

1. Produce diagnostic images in the assigned area and perform quality control tasks as assigned.
2. Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to the examination.
3. Perform mammography examinations according to high-quality standards to serve the patient and referring physician.

Must have current ARRT(R) certification, and state licenses in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and Mammographic Radiologic Technology.
