Job description

We have open positions for a Breast Imaging Technologist in Seattle, WA. Whether you prefer full-time, part-time, or on-call work, we offer flexible scheduling options to fit your needs.

As a Breast Imaging Technologist, your main responsibility will be conducting mammography examinations based on physicians' orders. You will operate sophisticated mammography equipment and consider the unique needs of each patient, including any age-related considerations. Your expertise in imaging factors, techniques, and patient care will help you produce high-quality images.

Additionally, you will be required to perform various radiological procedures specific to breast disease diagnosis and treatment. You will work in an outpatient setting, either in a fixed or mobile environment. In this role, you will act as a lead technologist, ensuring the accuracy and quality of radiographic images. You will also provide compassionate care to all patients. It will be your responsibility to adhere to the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA regulations by performing required quality control activities. Moreover, you will play a key role in the daily clinical and technical operations of the department, collaborating with a team of professionals. You should bring a positive attitude and maintain a patient-centric approach. Lastly, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and escalating service requests for equipment repair.

• Completion of education requirements for certification, license, or registration.
• WA Radiographer License (to be obtained upon hire)

• National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (to be obtained upon hire)
