Job summary

RAYUS Radiology in Sartell, MN is seeking a Mammography Technologist to operate assigned mammography scanners and produce diagnostic breast images while delivering patient-centered care and excellent service.

This full-time position is Monday–Friday 7:30am–5:00pm, with a part-time option (0.8–0.9 FTE) for 30–39 hours/week and benefits eligibility. DailyPay is offered; MQSA compliance and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered technologist in good standing.
• CPR certification current.
• Ability to competently perform mammography procedures independently.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Must maintain continuing CEUs in modality as required by MQSA or state.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned mammography scanner(s) to produce diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures and position patients for accurate imaging.
• Maintain RIS records and follow safety regulations.
• Assist with imaging protocol updates and software upgrades.

The pay range for this position is $30.00-$50.00 based on direct and relevant experience.

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Mammography Technologistto join our team. As a Mammography Technologist, you will beresponsible for the operation of assigned scanner(s) to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes. Taking a patient centered approach, you will provide Mammography services within professional standards and with excellent customer service. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday from 7:30am - 5:00pm. This position is also available part-time 30-39 hours/week in 0.8 or 0.9 FTE status (benefit eligible).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(90%) Patient Mammography Imaging

1. Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure
2. Explains and prepares patients for Mammography imaging procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately imaged/scanned
3. Performs routine and advanced Mammography imaging procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeats scanned, while providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedure
4. Adjusts Mammography scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate
5. Follows physicians' orders precisely, conforms to safety regulations, and accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
6. Maintains an orderly and clean work area including equipment promoting good safety habits for patients and team members
7. Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements

(5%) Mammography Department Support

1. Assists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades
2. Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary
3. Assists with training of new team members, providing resource and technical expertise, as applicable

(5%) Completes other tasks as assigned

Required:

1. High School diploma, or equivalent
2. Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
3. ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
4. Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
5. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
6. Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform mammography procedures independently
7. Certification in imaging specialty
8. Must have continuing CEU's in modality as required by MQSA or state specific
