Novant Health in Mint Hill, NC is seeking an MRI Technologist for Outpatient Imaging to deliver high-quality imaging for diverse patients in a collaborative team setting.

You will work with radiologists and clinical teams, perform Mammography-related imaging, and prepare patients while adhering to ARRT standards. On-site position with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required. 2 Year / Associate Degree preferred. ARRT Radiography Program required.
• Experience: One year Mammography preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: ARRT Radiography and Mammography RT(R)(M) required; Bone Densitometry RT(R)(M)(BD) preferred; state license required.
• Skills: Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication, and age-specific care awareness.

Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required.
• Experience: One year experience in Mammography, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography – RT(R)(M), required.
  • Certified and registered by ARRT in Bone Densitometry – RT(R)(M)(BD), preferred.
  • Applicable state license, required.
• Additional Skills Required: Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient, ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Prepares patient for procedures. Operates Mammography equipment.
