Job description

Join to apply for the Mammography Technologist role at Saint Peter’s Healthcare System.

The Mammography Technologist will:

• Perform mammography and DEXA procedures as ordered by a physician.
• Assist radiologists and/or radiology residents during interventional mammography within the scope of licensure and training.
• Function in an ethical and professional manner.
• Participate in extended work schedules of the mammography unit when necessary, within licensure and training limits.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care across all age groups, including Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics.

Requirements:

• Current New Jersey license to practice Radiologic Technology.
• Knowledge of X-Ray, mammography, and computer technology used in Radiology.
• Effective interaction skills with patients, physicians, hospital staff, and students.
• Good reading and deductive skills to interpret Physician's requests and solve problems.
• Ability to think and act quickly to deliver quality patient care.

Salary Range: $34.90 - $57.58 USD.

We offer competitive base rates, determined by experience, internal equity, and industry data. Some positions may include certification pay and shift differentials. Salary is prorated based on employment status.
