Job summary

Novant Health’s NH Breast Center - Mint Hill is seeking an MRI Technologist for Outpatient Imaging to join a collaborative team. You will perform high-quality mammography imaging and support patient-focused care alongside radiologists and clinicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; ARRT Radiography program completed.
• ARRT Radiography certification required and state license necessary.
• Bone densitometry certification is a plus.
• One year Mammography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Mammography equipment to image patients.
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure comfort.
• Interpret and adapt procedures based on age-specific needs.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure quality imaging.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required.


• Experience: One year experience in Mammography, preferred.


• Licensure/Certification:
  
  
  
  • Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography – RT(R)(M), required.
  
  
  • Certified and registered by ARRT in Bone Densitometry – RT(R)(M)(BD), preferred.
  
  
  • Applicable state license, required.
  
  
  
  


• Additional Skills Required: Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient, ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Prepares patient for procedures. Operates Mammography equipment.
