Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist (PRN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative imaging environment. Primary hours are between 6:30am-5:00pm with 36 hours every 6 weeks; additional hours at other locations may be available.

Ideal candidates are graduates of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology programs, ARRT registered, Mammography certified, state-licensed, BLS-certified, and have 40 hours of mammography training; one year

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Technologist (ARRT RT(R)) in good standing.
• Mammography certification: ARRT RT(R)(M).
• Current state licensure prior to employment.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• 40 hours of mammography training completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammography imaging while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning throughout the exam.
• Educate and support patients to promote understanding and a positive care experience.
• Review images for quality and complete documentation, image archiving, and exam processing.
• Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality assurance standards, including equipment checks and reporting malfunctions as needed.
• Collaborate with team members across imaging locations and support onboarding, teaching, and mentoring of new caregivers and students.
• Demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, and a commitment to ongoing learning and skill development.

A caregiver in this position is PRN and works varying shifts | primary hours are between 6:30am-5:00pm | requirement is 36 hours every 6 weeks | additional hours can be picked up at other locations, if avaiable.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. R.T.(R) (ARRT), in good standing
• Certification in Mammography: R.T.(R) (M) (ARRT)
• Current state licensure (RL) required prior to employment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
• Successful completion of 40 hours of mammography training

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist

Physical Requirements:

• Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $42.00

Maximum hourly: $42.00
