Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a part-time radiologic technologist for breast imaging in a high-volume outpatient setting at Swedish First Hill. You will perform specialized mammography procedures, ensure high-quality images, and interact with patients with care and empathy.

Required ARRT registry training, Washington Licensure on hire, and BLS. Mammography cert within 1 year is expected. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits available.

• National Registered Technologist - Radiography upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures for breast diagnostics in a high-volume outpatient setting.
• Produce high-quality radiographic images while providing compassionate patient care.
• Participate in MQSA and FDA-mandated quality control activities.
• May use general radiography skills for diagnostic exams depending on location.

This position is required to perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high volume outpatient setting. Responsible for producing high quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Dependent on location, may be required to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams.

Required Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Mammography

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of full-time mammography experience
