Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic and screening mammograms, breast ultrasounds, and related procedures on a PRN basis. The role supports day-to-day breast imaging services in a hospital setting and requires ARRT Mammography certification or progress toward certification within one year, plus IPLA licensure.

Strong hand-eye coordination and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mammography ARRT (R) certification required or to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Licensed Radiology Technologist by IPLA required.
• Mammography experience preferred.
• Ability to lift without restriction and strong hand-eye coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and screening mammograms and breast ultrasounds.
• Conduct necessary procedures as part of mammography workflow.

We have PRN hour available for pick up M-F 6:30am to 7pm, with mostly dayshift help needed. There is option to pick up Saturday mornings as well.

The Mammography Technologist will be doing diagnostic and screening mammograms, breast ultrasounds and procedures.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to lift without restriction
• Have good hand-eye coordination
• Hear spoken word as well as telephone and equipment alarms
• React, move, work quickly, and with multiple distractions
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• License: Certified Radiograpy ARRT (R), Licensed as a Radiology Technologist by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA) required
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required
• If hired without Mammography certification through the ARRT {ARRT (M)}, must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Experience: Mammography experience preferred
