Job summary

Hmixray is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join a patient‑focused radiology team. You will operate mammographic equipment, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout exams.

You will participate in patient communication, respond to physician needs, safeguard patient information and on‑site medications, and maintain professional standards while delivering compassionate, efficient imaging services.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required for the radiologic technologist role.
• State license in diagnostic radiologic technology is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic equipment and other devices per policies and protocols.
• Produce high quality diagnostic images promptly while ensuring patient care.
• Choose appropriate exposure settings and adjustments to generate quality images.
• Monitor patients during exams and respond to discomfort or issues.
• Guide patients through procedures and answer questions and concerns.
• Respond to physician questions and patient needs.
• Safeguard patient information and on‑site medications according to policy.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities in all interactions.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in clinical settings.

When you join us as a Mammography Technologist, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders—patients, providers, payors, and regulators—to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will:

• Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other equipment/devices with adherence to established company policies and protocols.
• Produce high quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
• Understand and use compression, exposure modes, filter, KvP, Mas, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC selection, photo cell selection and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
• Monitor patients’ well‑being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Guide patients through this sometimes‑difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguard any on‑site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrate ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

• ARRT(R)(M) certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• Must have BLS certification.

Pay Range

$55.00 – $70.00 per hour
