RadNet in Fremont, CA is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our radiology team. You will operate mammographic equipment, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout exams.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT(R)(M) certification, a State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, and BLS. Prior diagnostic imaging experience is preferred; we offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsabilidades

• Operate mammographic equipment following policies and protocols to produce quality images.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images promptly while delivering excellent patient care.
• Apply compression, exposure modes, KvP, mAs, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC settings to optimize images.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical concerns.
• Guide patients through the exam with clear explanations and address questions about procedures.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.

You Will:

• Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other equipment/devices with adherence to established company policies and protocols.
• Produce high quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
• Understand and use compression, exposure modes, filter, KvP, Mas, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC selection, photo cell selection and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
• Monitor patients’ well- being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

• ARRT(R)(M) certification

Pay Range: $55.00 – $75.00 per hour
