Mammography Technologist – Fort Walton Beach, FL

CLS Connect is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for a full-time opportunity with an established outpatient healthcare organization in the Fort Walton Beach, Florida area.

This position is ideal for a patient-focused Mammography Technologist who takes pride in producing high-quality diagnostic imaging while providing a comfortable and compassionate experience for patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations
• Obtain and review relevant patient history prior to imaging
• Explain procedures and address patient questions or concerns
• Ensure high-quality images are obtained and properly submitted for radiologist review
• Assist radiologists with breast imaging procedures, including needle localizations
• Follow established patient and technologist safety standards
• Participate in MQSA inspections and maintain required continuing education
• Maintain all required professional licenses and certifications
• Assist with general X-ray coverage when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and strict patient confidentiality
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other members of the clinical team
