Job summary

Prime Healthcare’s Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a Mammographer to perform specialized radiographic imaging and assist radiologists in diagnosis. The role involves direct patient care, safety initiatives, and adherence to hospital standards.

The position requires ARRT certification, a fluoroscopy permit, and a Mammography certification, with travel to multiple imaging facilities as needed. It is a part-time day shift in Olympia Fields, IL.

Qualifications

• Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Advanced certification in Mammography.
• Current experience as a radiology technologist.
• Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards.
• Ability to travel to all imaging facilities both regularly and without notice.
• Experience in HIS/RIS.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized radiographic imaging procedures for Radiology Services and assist radiologists in diagnosis and treatment.
• Participate in direct patient care, facility quality and safety initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure quality and safe delivery of care to patients of all ages.
