Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a Mammography Technologist for PRN, part-time, rotating shift. You will operate mammography equipment, position patients, acquire images per ACR guidelines, and support radiologists during examinations.

Candidates must be ARRT registered, Indiana Radiographer licensed, and have a radiologic technology degree, with at least one year in radiology and preferred mammography experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• One year of mammography experience preferred.
• Current ARRT registration.
• Licensed Radiographer in Indiana.
• ARRT advanced certification in Mammography or approved training; obtain within 60 days of hire.

Schedule: 0.0FTE PRN - 8 hour shift Must be registered Mammographer.

About the Role

Operates mammography equipment to obtain high‑quality mammographic images in accordance with ACR guidelines and departmental protocols. Independently performs patient positioning, image acquisition, and equipment adjustments to ensure optimal diagnostic results. Works collaboratively with radiologists by assisting with examinations, including sterile procedures and other clinical support tasks as needed.

Here’s What You’ll Need

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Experience

• Minimum of one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• One year of mammography experience preferred.

Licensure & Certification

• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Licensed Radiographer in the State of Indiana.
• Holds the ARRT advanced certification in Mammography or has completed an approved mammography training course and will obtain the ARRT advanced certificate within 60 days of hire.
