Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN seeks a Mammography Technologist to operate mammography equipment and produce high-quality images per ACR guidelines. You will position patients, acquire images, and adjust equipment as needed while supporting radiologists during examinations.

Ideal candidates have a radiologic technology education, active ARRT registration, Indiana radiographer licensure, and preferably one year of mammography experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• One year of mammography experience preferred.
• Current ARRT registration.
• Licensed Radiographer in Indiana.
• ARRT advanced certification in Mammography or completed an approved mammography training course and obtain ARRT advanced certificate within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammography equipment to obtain high-quality mammographic images in accordance with ACR guidelines and departmental protocols.
• Independently perform patient positioning, image acquisition, and equipment adjustments to ensure optimal diagnostic results.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists by assisting with examinations, including sterile procedures and other clinical support tasks as needed.

Mammo Tech - Full-Time

Location: Mishawaka, IN
Schedule: 4 days week; variable

Hours: (7:30AM-7:00PM) and (8:00AM-4:30PM)

Rotating: No holidays/No weekends/No call

Requires: Screenings, diagnostics, bone densities, biopsies

About the Role

Here's What You'll Need

Education
