Job summary

Methodist Charlton Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform quality mammography and support Radiologists in procedures for early breast cancer detection. The role requires MQSA-compliant radiologic technologist training, ARRT(R) and ARRT(M) certifications, BLS, and Texas state certification, with 1 year of experience.

Shift options include 8am–4pm, 6am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday, with PRN availability.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and MQSA guidelines.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current ARRT(M) certification.
• Texas Department of State Health certification.
• Work Experience: 1 year required.
• ARRT(R); license for ARRT(M) within 1 year of orientation.

Your Job: In this highly technical allied imaging professional position, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services, which include ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The primary purpose of the Mammography Technologist position is to perform quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologist in special procedures for the purpose and early detection of breast abnormalities.

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and meets the MQSA guidelines
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists« certification — ARRT (M)
• Texas Department of State Health certification
• Work Experience: 1 year required
