Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform quality mammography procedures and assist radiologists in special procedures for early breast cancer detection. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team ensures delivery of high quality imaging services.

The role requires MQSA-compliant radiologic credentials, BLS, ARRT certifications, and Texas state health certification, with preference for 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program meeting MQSA guidelines.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current ARRT (M) certification; ARRT (R) acceptable with license within 1 year of orientation.
• Texas Department of State Health certification.
• 1 year work experience preferred.

Hours of Work : 24 Days Of Week : 3 Work Shift : Job Description : Your Job: In this highly technical allied imaging professional position, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services, which include ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The primary purpose of the Mammography Technologist position is to perform quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologist in special procedures for the purpose and early detection of breast abnormalities.

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and meets the MQSA guidelines
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists« certification - ARRT (M)
• Texas Department of State Health certification
• Work Experience: 1 year preferred
• Or ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation
