Job summary

Toledo Clinic is seeking a Mammography Technologist to work under the supervision of the Lead Mammography Technologist. The role involves performing routine mammograms, needle localization for breast biopsy, and stereotactic breast exams.

Applicants must hold ARRT certification with post-primary Mammography credentials and a valid Ohio Radiologic License; a certificate/associate degree in Radiologic Technology is required. Some travel to other TTC radiology locations may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification with post-primary Mammography credentials.
• Valid Ohio Radiologic License issued by the Ohio Department of Health.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mammogram procedures.
• Perform needle localization for breast biopsy.

• May travel to other TTC radiology locations as needed.

• Consistently arrives at work on time and adheres to regular work schedule.
• Perform routine mammogram procedures.
• Perform needle location procedure for breast biopsy.
• Perform Stereotactic breast examination.
• Maintain accurate ACR records.
• Monitor and maintain equipment.
• May require occasional travel to other TTC radiology locations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

Required:

• Consistently arrives at work in appropriate/professional attire.
• Completes all tasks within established time frame.
• Adheres to all clinic policies and procedures.
• Holds current certification as a Radiologic Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) , with recognized post-primary certification in Mammography.
• Holds a valid state Ohio Radiologic License issued by the Ohio Department of Health.
• Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
• Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.

Education:

• Certificate or Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology.

Preferred:

• Minimum of one year of experience as a Mammographer.
