Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for Spalding Medical Center. You will perform diagnostic radiology procedures and ensure patient safety while delivering high-quality images and accurate documentation. You will maintain infection control, operate imaging equipment, and support team colleagues in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion is required.
• ARRT Mammography and Radiography certifications are required on hire.
• Minimum 1 year of radiology and mammography experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures safely and accurately.
• Adjust technique to obtain optimal image quality.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain consent.
• Coordinate with team to ensure timely patient throughput.
• Document procedures and QA checks.
