Summary of Essential Duties:

As a Mammography Technologist, you will perform a broad range of scans/procedures from basic to somewhat complex relative to a specific patient population and may assist physicians in performing procedures as well as transport medications from the delivery area to an authorized imaging area. This includes needle and radar localizations, as well as stereotactic breast biopsies. You will exercise your cultural competency in providing patient education and maintain a safe environment by identifying and reporting any safety concerns.

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited Mammography program required

License/Certifications:

• ARRT(R) certification required
• State of California Mammography certification required
• BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required

Experience:

• No experience required
• Applicants with more than 1 year of experience in Mammography may be considered as a Mammography Tech II
