Under the supervision of the Diagnostic Radiology / Breast Imaging Manager and/or Assistant Chief Technologist, performs a wide variety of technical and professional duties utilizing complex imaging equipment to produce quality mammography images as requested for subsequent interpretation by the radiologist. All duties are performed according to departmental and organizational policies and procedures. Promotes service excellence in all interactions as outlined in the Key Behaviors in the YNHH Core Success Factors. To meet the staffing needs of the department, Diagnostic Radiology staff may be assigned at any of the YNHH Diagnostic Radiology locations, regardless of your regularly assigned work location.

Education: Graduation from an A.M.A. approved Radiologic Technology program. An AS degree is preferred.
Experience: Demonstrated technical skills to meet entry level standards of routine mammography.
Licensure: RT (R,M) required. CT State License required. CPR Certification preferred.
Special Skills: Proficient in routine breast imaging and/or screening mammography procedures, with above average knowledge of computer/PACS applications, and good organizational and communication/customer service skills.
Physical Demand: Ability to lift 25 pounds.
