Job summary

MercyOne Northeast Iowa seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic mammography and bone density imaging. You will assist radiologists, prepare patients and equipment, and ensure safety protocols are followed in a fast-paced setting.

New grads are encouraged to apply. Relocation assistance may be available, with a day shift schedule from 8:30 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a two year accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT Radiography and Mammography certifications within 1 year.
• Must have 40 hour mammography training and 8 hour tomo training.
• Must have valid Iowa permit to practice and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient, room and equipment for mammography procedures.
• Provides patient care per department policy and educates patients.
• Collects history data and communicates findings to radiologist.
• Performs mammographic imaging procedures.
• Performs bone density procedures as qualified.
• Delivers pertinent information to radiologist for interpretation.
• Adheres to safety, infection control and workplace policies.
