Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Mammography Technician to perform Radiologic breast imaging procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. You will ensure accuracy, adhere to department protocols, and apply safe practices in every exam.

The role requires ARRT Mammography registration (or eligibility) and a commitment to MQSA criteria while maintaining ongoing education to stay current with standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be registered with ARRT and the advanced registry in Mammography, ARRT (M) (or registry eligible).
• If registry eligible, registry must be obtained within 12 months of date of hire.
• Failure to obtain registry within the designated timeframe will result in termination of the Mammography Tech position.
• Must maintain the required hours of continued medical education.
• Must meet all MQSA criteria, as well as other regulatory agencies.

• If registry eligible, registry must be obtained within 12 months of date of hire.
• Failure to obtain registry within the designated timeframe will result in termination of the Mammography Tech position.
• Must maintain the required hours of continued medical education.
• Must meet all Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) criteria, as well as other regulatory agencies.
