Qualifications

• Two years of additional education beyond High School.
• Graduate of an AMA Council of Medical Education Program for Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Advanced mammography Certification Required.
• Must currently be licensed or license eligible in the State of Vermont.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs all types of mammographic breast imaging procedures.
• Assists in the technical orientation of cross-training staff and to instruct them in complex procedures.
• Acquires and maintains certification relevant to mammography per facility and FDA/MQSA requirements.
• Flexibility to cross train in other Radiology modalities based on staffing needs.
